How we work

How we build your MVP: four stages.

  1. To start

    Free consultation

You tell us about the idea and we ask about users, market and budget. You leave the call knowing where to begin.

  2. 1–2 weeks

    Discovery workshop

With a business analyst you decide what goes into the first version and what waits in the backlog. You get a specification, a prototype and a quote.

    See Discovery workshops →
  3. 3–8 weeks

    Fixed Price build

Weekly sprints with a working version after each one. Your Tech Lead keeps the whole build on track.

  4. After launch

    Support after launch

The repository and all access move to you. We keep building the product or stay on as your technology partner.

Week by week

Eight weeks, eight working versions.

Every week you get a link and click through a new version of the product. Below is the longest variant: most of our MVPs were ready sooner.

Laptop showing a mobile app prototype during a weekly demo with the team Week 1 → 8
  1. Week 01: Foundations and the first screen

You log in with your own account and click through the product skeleton.

  2. Week 02: The core user journey

You walk the main user path yourself, from sign-up to result.

  3. Week 03: Real data and rules

The product runs on your data, with its logic and error handling in place.

ZeroShame was ready here: 3 weeks
  4. Week 04: The other side of the market

You see the product from both sides: the user and the admin or supplier.

Talently, WinOver and HeliTaxi were ready here: 4 weeks
  5. Week 05: Payments and integrations

You run a full transaction in the test environment.

  6. Week 06: A polished interface

You have a version to show investors and your first customers.

Shootsy was ready here: 6 weeks
  7. Week 07: Testing and security

We test the scenarios, fix bugs and check GDPR compliance.

  8. Week 08: Launch and measurement

The product goes to users, and you get the repository and the first data.

FundForMe was ready here: 8 weeks
After launch

Market data and your next step.

The first data from users shows you which way to go. All three routes grow on the same code, so nobody rewrites the product from scratch.

  • Iterate

Add features from the backlog on the same codebase, with the same team.

  • Pivot

Change direction while the foundation stays: sign-in, database, payments.

  • Scale

We grow the product for more traffic and help you build your own team.

Questions

Before you book a call.

How long does it take to build an MVP for a startup?

The build takes 3 to 8 weeks, after a Discovery workshop of 1 to 2 weeks. That is how long our projects took, from ZeroShame (3 weeks) to FundForMe (8 weeks). We give you the date after Discovery, together with the price.

When will I see the first results?

You get a link to a working version after the first week of the build. The core functionality works within the first month, and another part of the product lands every week.

How much does an MVP cost?

We quote the build as a Fixed Price after the Discovery workshop, once the scope of the first version is clear. The amount does not change during the work. On the free consultation we explain what drives the price in your case.

What do I get every week?

A link to a working version and a short call where we show what is new and agree the priorities for the following week together.

How is an MVP different from a prototype?

A prototype is a clickable mock-up that shows the idea. An MVP is a working product: it serves real users, takes payments and gives you data for the next decision.

Who owns the intellectual property when the project ends?

You do. Once the project is settled, you receive the intellectual property rights, the repository, access and documentation. Where full rights cannot be transferred (for example third-party components), you get a licence to use them.

Do you work with startups from accelerators?

Yes. We work with accelerators and incubators, so we know the rhythm of a funding round and what has to be ready for demo day. After launch we can keep developing the product or become your technology partner.
